
Mayura is an Associate at EVX Ventures and currently incubating a biotech venture creation project in cancer immunotherapy. Mayura joined EVX Ventures in 2018 as part of the Morphosis program and incubated several ideas for biotech startups. Mayura trained in immunology and her PhD at the Australian National University (ANU) investigated molecular pathways regulating T cell responses to autoimmune diseases and chronic infection.
She completed her B.Sc from the University of Sydney and her honours research at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research exploring genetic mutations in patients with rare immunodeficiencies. Mayura also founded and led a student organization at the John Curtin School of Medical Research at ANU and is an Associate Fellow at the Higher Education Academy for her experience in tertiary education.
