Procurement Assistant (Contract, 12 months)

EVX is looking for a highly motivated procurement assistant to join the team.
Responsibilities
Create POs promptly, match invoices to POs with all supporting documents
Review invoices, coordinate approvals, and acknowledge receipt to facilitate payment processing
Reconcile vendor statements and make corrections for discrepancies
Manage procurement enquiries, and understand requestors' requirements
Maintain vendor information, good relationships, and follow-up with vendors closely
Provide administrative support to the office
Prepare weekly and monthly reports
Responsible for supporting procurement processes
Process Accounts Payable transaction reports; namely aging and payment schedule
Monitor accounts payable aging to ensure timely payments
Prepare month end accruals entries for purchases
Assist in process improvement when the need arises
Any other duties assigned from time to time
Requirements
1-3 years of Accounts Payable/procurement experience preferred, fresh graduates welcome
Strong reporting and analytical skills
Meticulous with good attention to details
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Proactive, positive, and responsible individual.
Able to work under tight deadlines with strong sense of urgency
